Comments:
I purchased the planer from a local estate auction; the PO had run a small cabinet and furniture shop. The planer seems to be nearly plug and play, if it weren't for the rotten electrical wire. Purchased new drive belts. I don't plan on doing any restoration for some time. The knives were sharp, and the gibs look to be fully functional. This model has grease fittings for all the moving parts except for the cutter head which uses sealed bearings. Overall, it was a very well cared for machine with no rust even on feed table. It came with a 2HP Baldor motor. Sometime in its history the pressure bar was repaired, and I may look for a replacement.
