>>MACHINE<<
Sears Craftsman Swing Saw, built by the Central-Specialty division of King-Seeley, in Ypsilanti Michigan.
The saw is predominately composed of iron castings, and very heavy.
The base is nearly identical to the same era floor model drill presses, except for the added mounting slots for the wooden work table (which is missing).
This saw is equipped with a 10" blade and ¾hp motor. A 12" blade may also be used with a 1hp motor.
The blade arbor is ¾" with LH threads.
Both vee pulleys are 3" diameter machined cast iron, for use with a 3450rpm motor.
The motor is a ¾hp, 3450rpm Craftsman, built by Packard Electric, in 1953.
A steel combination blade was original equipment. This is a replacement blade.
A steel spacer bushing between the arbor nut and outer flange is removeable to use a dado blade.
I ran the saw briefly and it is very smooth.

I plan on cleaning it up a bit, making a replacement table and using it for crosscuts.

>>HISTORY<<
I purchased this machine from a friend, who found it in a barn at an estate sale.
No further history is known.

UPDATE December 2012:
Disassembled.
Original arbor bearings MRC (USA) 204SZZ (double seal with removable retainer-patent 2467049).
Flushed and repacked bearings with Mobil Polyrex EM and reassembled arbor.

UPDATE August 2013:
The saw runs great!
Cleaned up, lubricated and aligned.
Switched to Craftsman 113.19060 1hp 3450rpm capacitor-start motor, rewired for 240V operation.
Installed a 12" steel combination blade and new 38" belt.
Mounted the saw to a Craftsman 10425 26"x26" Universal Tool Stand.
Constructed a new table using MDF.
Added a sketch of the table to the Image section: http://www.vintagemachinery.org/mfgindex/imagedetail.aspx?id=7112

UPDATE April 2015:
Installed ACE 2126704 12"x1"x80 carbide tooth blade (almost 0° hook angle).
Cuts nicely with reduced pull.

UPDATE October 2023:
I no longer own this saw--sold to a fellow OWWMer.
