This motor came with my Craftsman 150 drill press (103.24511) made some time in the mid to late 1960's. I bought the D/P on craigslist.com in Aug. of 2012. It dose not have a Manufacturing date on it but i think it's OEM for that drill Press. It ran vary smooth when first plugged in but had a wobble on the top shaft and the electrical is a little scary. I suspected the wobble was the step pulley and luckily i was correct. There is some surface rust on the top bell end and capacitor cover but otherwise the motor is in good shape. I re-sprayed the top bell end and capacitor cover in black enamel. It is interesting that the to shafts are different. one is a 5/8" keyway and the other is 1/2" with a flat. Im replacing my current 1/2 hp split-phase motor on my DP with this motor.
