I picked this saw up on it's original stand at a junkyard for $15...it was very rusty and had been sitting out in the rain for some time...had it sandblasted then primed and painted it with Awl Grip... right extension is shop built as is throat plate, both are laminated with Formica...had to buy the front rip fence rail with the teeth stamped in for the micro adjust from Delta for $63 plus shipping (800-223-7278 Delta Hotline for parts)...I made the rear one from aluminum angle stock...the motor is a new 3/4-hp 1725 rpm with a 5" machined steel pulley, I had the motor laying around and just repainted it with some black Industrial Imron I already had. I mounted this saw lenght wise on it's original flared leg stand since I was not going to use it as a combo machine and the original 4" jointer was missing.
This saw was originally a Delta combo machine with a 4" Jointer next to it or possibly a "Delta Shop" unit with a 11" Drill Press and 8.5" Sander. This Delta 34-600 Table Saw was made in Pittsburgh,PA and has a Serial # of BS-6171.
I sold this saw for $150 to a new happy owner in Altanta, GA.
