I acquired this lathe at an antique shop in Yankton South Dakota. The decals indicate Jersey City, NJ . which would suggest that it may have been made in the early 30's.

This I the result of my first attempt at restoring. I had all parts media blasted by a friend, at the cost of breakfast. I then primered with etching primer and used a hammer finish green paint. I do have to add the decals which I hope to have soon. There is one thing that isn't correct, the drive spindle, I'm thinking is from a Driver Polishing set, that's the way I bought it not knowing, I would've bought it anyway. If I am right in my thinking I could use some help in finding the right spindle. You may notice some blemishes on the ways, those have been removed since these photo's were taken.

I have a older craftsman scroll saw that just may be my next project.
