Purchased at an estate sale auction last fall at the Howard County Fairgrounds. There was quite a selection of vintage Delta and Powermatic machines there - surprisingly, all of them were single phase! This one has a very early 'Eugene B. Skarie, Baltimore' decal on it (instead of the familiar brushed aluminum and red circular metal tag). Skarie opened for business shortly after World War II, and I'm not sure when they switched over to the riveted metal tags. This shaper is in great shape, has it's original paint, owner's manual, double-walled dust doors, floor pan, both cast iron 'wings', spindles and inserts. All she needs is a little clean up.
