Comments:
I bought this bandsaw on Craigslist. The lower guide assembly is missing so the seller (now friend and partner in crime) agreed to make one in his machine shop, as well as repaint the saw and replace the babbitt bearings with roller bearings (which he masterfully carried out). I have helped with much of the grunt work, and after a year of working on and off on this project, we are in the re-assembly stage. The last hurtle will be the motor, and the lower saw guide. My partner wants to replace the bushings on the motor with roller or ball bearings, it is an old 2 hp Wagner 1 phase motor from around 1920 according to him.

Comments: Coated with Rustmort ready for painting. I constructed a paint booth mainly to be able to heat the air to the recommended temperature. The temperature was between the high thirties to the low 50's.
