Comments:
Bought this saw in September 2013 from the son of the original owner for $120. There were several homemade wooden and metal hangers attached for storing the fence, miter gauge and cord. The paint was in poor shape with lots of scratches but not much rust and no rust at all on the feet. The inside of the cabinet was only lightly spray painted and had a lot of surface rust. The trunions and arbor carriage weren't painted at all and there was rust wherever sawdust had caked on.

I did a complete tear down, installed new arbor bearings and painted everything on the inside light grey using Benjamin Moore Industrial Alkyd Enamel. I then painted the outside in a light tan Gloss Alkyd Enamel. The color was named "Adobe". The paint was $5/Gallon at our Salem Habitat ReStore.

I thought the wood pieces on the outside of the table extensions were a good idea so I re-installed them, as I have previously converted several Pendleton wool shirts into work shirts by catching and tearing them on sharp edges of machine's tables. The arbor only had .004 runout when re-assembled so I left it alone. The saw is very quiet and vibration free when running. It only has a 1 H.P. Emerson motor but was able to cut 10/4 Oak so long as I fed it slowly. Posted 1/2/2014, edited to correct true manufacturer to Central Specialty.
