This was a "free" saw. While helping friends clean up their place, this was found in the grass
beside a shed. Thinking I could salvage some parts, asked for it and was given it. On examination figured I could rescue it and put it back to work. It did have the miter gage but was missing the motor mount, fence and had a couple broken parts. Fabricated some new parts, scraped the rust off and welded up a fence out of a couple of pieces of angle iron. It is badged with a "Powr-Kraft" tag but found that it is a Beaver CS 2200. From the literature found on this site, Wards listed Beaver saws as Beaver saws in their 1950-51 catalog. In 1953-54 they were selling them under the Powr-Kraft label. In 1956-57, Wards brought out a new line of saws and the Beavers disappeared. Since I did not have the motor mount, I removed the motor tilt mechanism and hung a 1/2hp Baldor underneath. Works great.
