Comments:
I bought this from a seller on Craigslist. He said he took it in, with several other pieces, from a friend in 2009. He intended on opening a cabinet shop at his home, but found that it was easier, faster, and cheaper to take mobile tools to each home--in the DC area, the homes are so old and out-of-square that it was easier to cut to fit in place. It sat for five years before he gave up on the idea of keeping it and sold it dirt cheap, less than the cost of scrap.

I only have these two photos for now. I only intend on doing a basic rebuild--knives, bearings, and belts. It will become my shop's planer.

Once done I'll take some "better" shots of it and post them.

(Update May 2015)

I opened it up and pulled it apart to check it out. The bearings sounded great, but I didn't know their age, so I pulled them and ordered new bearings from Accurate.
