I've been looking at these for awhile but they are sadly way out of my price range right now. Today, I found one right in my price range. I went to drop some garbage at the landfill today and noticed this saw just sitting there and couldn't believe I was looking at a Unisaw that someone had simply discarded. I asked the attendant what was going to happen to it and he told me if I could get it in my truck I could have it. I asked the gentleman unloading his truck next to mine if he'd help me load it for $20 and he said he'd help me for free. We managed to get it in the truck and I was on my way. The saw is definitely a project but most everything is there including the original motor with the exception of the blade guard and the miter gauge.

Update 09/18/15: The restoration is complete. The only thing that could not be salvaged was the fence and the front fence rail tube. The rest is original to the saw.
