Picked this saw up on eBay in March of this year (2015) for $400, and it was less than 20 miles from my home, so no shipping. How could I not go get it ?
Still had 3 of the original 4 belts from when it was manufactured in 1978.
Top shows a lot of use, but is perfectly serviceable. The original 3 phase, 7 1/2 HP motor purrs like a kitten. The arbor has zero run out, and the bearings are free turning and silent.
All of the cast iron is perfect, no cracks. I cleaned everything, installed a set of new belts, made biesemeyer style rails to carry a VerySuperCool tools t- square fence, extension and out-feed tables, made a motor cover, zero clearance insert and this jewel will last the rest of my life time.
