Comments:
I bought this Delta-Homecraft off the Craigslist in the Detroit area while in town on a job in August 2014.
1951 Model 37-290 Duluxe 4" jointer on the original Delta flare footed stand with the factory Delta chip shoot also.
Machine was totally disassembled, all parts cleaned and polished then refinished in Awl grip two part paint system. Installed new cutter head arbor bearings and new Freud high speed steel blades, all new electrical cords/wiring, metal box and toggle switch also. Has a new Dayco USA made V-belt and new 6" motor drive pulley, cutter head 2.5" arbor pulley is an original Delta pulley. I used a beautiful vintage late 1940's art deco 1725 rpm General Electric "Utility Motor" I had on hand to power this jointer that was also restored.

This jointer was in very good original condition when I got it only needed new arbor bearings. Jointer had a huge 1960's Craftsman 3450rmp motor mounted on it that I will use on a table saw restoration future project.
