This is a King-Sealy manufactured table Saw sold by Sears. It was originally aquired by Wigwam stores in Seattle and used in their shop to build all of their display cases. Wigwam has since gone out of business. I purchased this saw from one of carpenters working in the Wigwam shop at that time for $100. He purchased it from Wigwam when they folded. He used it for awhile building an addition to his garage and then it sat for a number of years until he decided to clean out his garage. It came with an older (original?) Sears 2 HP motor which was in poor condition and not worth overhauling. I am running the saw with a 1 HP 3450 motor wired for 240 volts matching it to the dual belts on the arbor. It has all the extensions and runs smoothly and quietly and cuts accurately and cleanly. I added rip fence bracket, miter bracket, out feed table and mobile base.
