This is the type "F" center mount micrometer fence that came with the Oliver 260 and 88 saws. It has a 27 1/2" X 4 1/4" tilting fence face. The main body of the fence is indexed to the table by means of two tapered pins and locked down by a threaded knob. The holes are precision drilled in the table top on roughly 12" centers and the fence has 12 3/4" of lateral adjustment, outside of this and you need to move the fence to the next set of holes. Overall this fence type is quite usable, it stays in good alignment and is easily adjustable within its range. It is a bit of a pain to switch between hole sets but not too bad with practice.
