This machine was given to me after being in storage for more than 10 years. The bearings were frozen and all adjustments were held by solidified lubricants. No table. New bearings went into the motor and the carriage bearings were re-lubricated by bending out the shield. A new top was made and a table extension was added so there was an equal amount of table on either side of the blade. A piece of cherry was carved and epoxied to the handle to make it more user friendly. A 12 in, guard from another saw was added as a 12 in. guard was available as an accessory.
This saw was the predecessor to the current 12 in. saw that Delta sells, only one heck of a lot heavier. The ways are the rod type that can be slightly twisted to give a whole new track for the carriage to ride in.
This saw, in my experience, is the best 10 in. radial arm saw ever made, which is probably why they made it into a 12 incher in later renditions. It was given to my son for use in his shop and so I didn't have time to do the rattle-can restoration details.
