Comments:
I purchased the saw 5 years ago from a private party in south west Denver. The saw was in rough shape with holes drilled in the cabinet and rust through in the feet. I repaired the defects and repainted the cabinet with Duplicolor rattle can paint. The table was so badly warn that it couldn't be salvaged so I adapted a table from a 10 inch Emerson made saw. The hand wheels were purchased from Grizzly.

I designed and built a retractable mobile base with leveling feet, that fits inside the cabinet,it is operated by the lower right hand wheel.(very smooth and easy to use) The arbor bearings were replaced and I machined the arbor arm casting for bearing plates and shims to allow for bearing preload adjustment. The completed arbor assembly was then mounted between centers in my metal lathe and the blade flange was trued. (.001" run out on the perimeter on a 10" Forrest saw blade)
