This machine was purchased at auction and came with no history. I bought the machine to replace a smaller machine for doing the day to day work in the shop. It was in running condition and pretty complete. The only things missing were a couple linkage parts for the brake.
I restored the machine which included new bearings for the motor, a new shaft and bearings for the upper wheel and new tires. I also replaced the the electrics with a VFD and control pad.
The motor is a Westinghouse, 1 hp, 860 RPM, 3 phase and is quite heavy.
This machine is rock solid, quiet, runs with no vibration and a pleasure to use.
