Walker-Turner Driver Line 12" bandsaw. The folks at Delta (who bought Walker Turner), when I sent them a picture, identified it as mid-1930's, but couldn't come up with any manuals. If you look on the oldwwmachines Walker Turner catalog page, at the Driver Line 500 Series catalog, the cover page shows a picture of a boy looking at a tool catalog. This bandsaw is on the cover of the catalog the boy is holding. No blade guard on the original, the one in the photo is shop-made. The blade on the saw when I got it was 78", but I've found the tensioner has sufficient range to let me use standard 80" blades.

I'm currently running it as a single speed machine. If you look at the back view picture, you'll see a shaft bearing cast into the frame above and to the right of the main pulley. I suspect this originally supported an idler shaft with a step pulley for multiple speeds
