CL find. PO had small cabinet shop going out of business. sander was in good condition on a open stand with a 1hp RI motor. did a complete tear down. all parts placed in a engine cooker to clean and remove old paint. rusted parts cleaned in a glass bead booth. repainted parts and ordered new bearings for the sander and motor. Sander was complete when about a month later I found a CI Art Deco base on CL with a 4" homecraft jointer on it. Was worth the $50 to take the 1 hr trip to pick it up. Decided to mount my sander on the CI base. Here are the before ,the after and the after,after
