This machine was complete when I got it except for the quill-return spring and its cover. A chunk had been broken out of the 4th (largest) step on the quill pulley. I got a cast iron pulley of the right diameter that was flat on the side and machined a recess that would fit the flange of the 3rd step pulley. Then I machined away the broken 4th step pulley and screwed the 3rd step to the iron 4th step with countersunk screws. Works fine now. A good machine. It has a tilting table.
