My first wood working piece of machinery I bought in 1977 when I worked in my Fathers shop before finishing High School I was 17. I own 5 drill presses and this is my main go to machine. I used this Machine at a shop I worked at with some friends and OSHA made us put a cover over the pulleys so I made the crude plywood box. I recently found a original cover just waiting for it to come in. The motor I believe to be original is a GE 1/3 hp and still works great some 60+ years later.
