I bought this new in 2007 on Amazon Had free shipping and I wanted an American Made machine. Only vintage to the degree that it's last of the dying breed of American made machinery now that most of all Powermatic machines are imported . When I received this machine the top didn't have a T-slot for a miter gauge. Also the throat ring the holes for the bolts were not drilled plumb. This was pictured with a top with a miter slot. After I called Powermaic to question this machine they told me it sound like this was a Proto type or a machine that was not meant to ship out. So the did send me a new top at n/c but claimed it would take a skilled mechanic 8 hours to change this out and I would void my warranty if I did this my self. Well we did it my Helper at that time and I had it done in 1 1/2 hours and that was changing out the spindle also. I have had no issues and the warranty was only 1 year anyway. I mainly use this for 45 and 22 1/2 degree cuts
