I have been looking for an older drill press for the shop for quiet a few years but never found what I was looking for until about 4 months ago, I had done some machine work for this guy who buys and sell used machinery at auctions, (I met this guy from my brother by the way) After I had completed his machine work I delivered it, while I was there I noticed this drill press sitting way in the back, I asked to look at it and he said sure, It was in horrible mess so I offered him $50.00 for it, he took it.
There were a few missing parts her and there but the major items were intact.
It took a long time to strip it down to the bear metal and prep, the major thing missing was the belt guard, I could make one but I think it looks just fine without it. I downloaded the badges from vintage machinery, I could clearly read the old ones, but they were in bad shape. And also made a spindle speed chart
