Bought from a widowed lady in Lincoln, Nebraska. She said her late husband had bought this new and had used it in his contracting business for many years. Son said he didn't want it because it needed too much work to get it back to good running order. Actually the saw was in great shape - it just hadn't been cleaned for 50 + Years. Once I got it completely torn down - I found all mechanisms to be in excellent shape. Didn't even need bearings. Just a tribute to how well machines of this era were made. Had a few problems with the motor - but I got that straightened out with some help from my friends on this site and this turned out to be a great little saw. Still looking for a stand - but it cuts great and works very well.
