Comments:
Picked this up today at a sale in Lincoln, NE. Great big old 3HP 3phase 220V Peerless pumpkin driving the wheels. Looks to be ex-Fed.Gov't by the "US-CE-C" stenciled over it and every other thing sold in the shop. Probably dates to somewhere around 1945 as it is just a few hundred places below a 20" Heavy Crescent I have that is positively dated that year.

Doesn't appear to have been used too much in the recent past. Looks like they were cutting plastic with it. Needs tires, paint, guide repairs, and a fix for the arm of the brake pedal and could be a sweet machine again. As a bonus the original miter guage was still extant. Unfortunately the rip fence is MIA. Not much resaw height for a saw this big, about 13".

Interesting that it has a pasteboard serial number tag like some of the war era Delta's had. Never seen that before on a Crescent. I'm mighty surprised it has survived the last sixty some odd years and one awful green paint job.
