>>HISTORY<<
September 2016:
I'm posting this lathe because currently it is not represented.
While bike riding, my wife and I saw this at curb for trash pick-up, Beverly Hills Michigan.
I returned later with my car to retrieve the lathe, tooling, and motor.
I left the home-made wooden stand and broken v-belt.
Tooling was in a metal ammo box, including face plates, centers, chisels, drill chuck, etc.
Also included was a 3L23 2" Leavitt Machine Company 3-jaw scroll chuck with inner and outer jaw sets.
Appears to be period correct Century 1/8hp RI electric motor included.
A previous owner appears to have been cut down the lathe bed to approximately 20" between centers and used it for some rudimentary metal working.
This would make an excellent vintage "midi-lathe" for pen turning, etc.
Since I already have both wood and metal lathes, I donated this one along with the motor to the ArnFest 2016 auction.
