Comments:
This 1939 era Boice Crane scroll saw was first owned by Pratt & Whitney Aircraft of East Hartford CT. until it was sold to the first private owner in 1995 thru their onsite surplus store. I bought it thru a Craigslist ad in 2004. In 2014 the machine was completely dissembled cleaned and reassembled with new bushings, roller bearings, seals and paint. The saw still has the original Peerless ½ hp motor and plunger rod switch. With the exception of the paint and some brass cap nuts (“Brass is Bling”) the machine is in as near original condition as one could expect from a machine of this era.

Comments: I put a riser and a tee in line to prevent debris from wearing on the upper seal and bushing. The riser prevents oil from going up the air tube.
