I bought this saw at a garage sale. The man inherited this saw from his wife's father and had no use for it. I picked it up for $125 and it continues to serve me well. The motor is not overly powerful, but it does the job if I slow my cutting rate in thick or dense material. I replaced the table with 3/4" mdo plywood, discarded the flimsy Craftsman base, and mounted the saw on a storage cabinet.
