Restoration included.....Total strip down.....Glass bead all parts.Was painted grey...but original was black.Replaced bearings in head stock.Made up a new stand using some cast Delta legs.The top for the stand is made of (2pcs) 2in x 4in ..3/8 thick wall rectangular tubing..with a spacer between the tubing.Makes for a very heavy and stable lathe.
Also installed a 1 inch riser on the head and tail stock.
To make it a little more user friendly I made and installed a hand wheel on the head stock..also..modified the hand wheel on the tail stock by fitting it with a larger knurled ring.
Finally...removed the original lock bolt on the tail stock and fitted it with a quick lever lock .
The wood used is Cherry with walnut trim.
