I scoped this machine out on Craigslist, had my eye on it for a while and as the price came down a bit I was able to jump on it and make a deal. I plan on restoring this machine to its former glory. It has great bones and everything functions well. I'm told the machine came out of an old trucking shop - it is awful greasy, but that is better than rusty!

Now for the problems; the top cover is missing on the motor/pulley drive. There is a small crack in one foot of the base. The table has some wear and drilling divots with one major chipped spot. The spindle has some runout - but an extra spindle was included! The runout may also just be in the chuck, but I have not taken the time to examine it yet. Lastly, the machine needs to be totally rewired as there are a few frayed wires, however, the motor runs great and I was able to see the machine under power before I bought it.

Also, this great rolling base was included which made it very easy to load and unload on the trailer. Will be nice to be able to move around the shop in the future as well.
