This set was bought at the going out of business auction of a screw manufacturer. The unit dates to the early-mid 1950's. K&T developed the 1200 series DP as a replacement for the 900 series. I'm not sure of the exact time frame for that changeover.

Per the model number, which matches the catalog description in the 1953 catalog, this set conosisted of the table plus two heads, standard speed "DeLuxe" (includes belt guard and head raising gear) with Jacobs 1/2" chucks. The unit could in the alternative have been bought with No. 1 Morse spindle, and/or in slow speed version.

These were outfitted with 3 phase motors.
