Comments:
Acquired from a gentleman in the area who is advancing in Parkinson's, and who could no longer use his machines. This is either a model 1160 or 1170 (probably 1170 because it measures 70" center to center on the drums), and was probably manufactured in the early 1950s based on a publication posted here on VintageMachines. The motor appears to be the original 1HP phase induction start and has no ground wire. I will replace the planks as they are splitting, otherwise it is entirely serviceable and operational, though probably dangerous with the exposed pulleys and sanding belt.
