This machine was acquired by my father in the late 1970s when he became naturalised in South Africa from Greece and began a tool and dye making business, progressing onto advanced CNC machining as the nature of the steel industry evolved from electronic into bluetooth digitalised CAD programmed machine operations. South Africa adopted the metric system in 1970. We do not want to see it melted down to scrap but behind a glass case in a museum.
