Rescued by Me in 2015, was going to be scrapped.
I presume this came to UK during WW2 & was sold on later by a machine dealer in London called Pidgen Bros.
All South Bend logos were removed at that time & replaced with the dealers badge, however the serial No remains on the right end of the ways along with a very shallow South Bend Lathe Works stamp.
It stands on a very heavy non std fabricated cabinet with integral swarf tray.
