Found on Craigslist, posted the as found pictures here on Vintage Machinery.org. Attached are after restoration photos.
It had no accessories and was missing the top shelf, I am having the shelf fabricated. Purchased a 6" Rockwell faceplate and a spur.
I stripped this thing down to the last nut, bolt and washer. Wire wheeled and degreased everything, painted and lubed it up, decals on the way.
This thing runs like a boss. In total, including lathe, accessories and paint, I have $182.00 in it. This total does not include my time. If I got paid by the hour for restoring old machinery, I would net $0.50 per hour. This was an enjoyable project, now on to the next piece of Vintage machinery.
