This is a 1943/1944 model Sears Craftsman Industrial Bench Grinder. It is 1/2 HP & 3450 RPM. Type = CNO, M = C4 47, It weighs 78lbs. It has the long C logo.
Painted with high gloss blue gray machine paint trimmed with low gloss black. These are not stock colors. Sears catalog 1943 shows brushed metal band in the middle like
this one has. This one is one of the latest models of this style as it has original light and corners on front of quench tray are cut. This has brand new safety glass. I also reproduced the label to as new condition. Only thing missing is the quench tray had long C Craftsman logo probably stencil painted. I am working on a reproduction of that. Other picture is of the grinder as I received it in Navy gray. Possible this was military. The light is the original yellow/green color on original pick.
