Acquired in an auction box lot where the seller had two relatively modern lathes. Marked "THE WATSON MFG CO / TOLEDO O" (not Toledo OH) and "PAT 1977568 / MADE IN USA". Appears this chuck is much older. Was rusty when found but a few hours in Metal Rescue left it as shown.

Note that the jaw screws are driven by a 7mm hex key rather than the typical square drive. The chuck came mounted on a 1.5" by 8 tpi backplate.
