Sears Craftsman heavy duty 8" tilt-arbor bench saw, built by Emerson Electric in Post-WWII.
Cast iron top with rectangular insert similar to the previous Atlas built tilt-arbor saws.
The subsequent 113.22401 saw had the oval top insert that was used throughout the life of the Emerson built saws.

July 2019:
The saw was given me by a local retiree, to use for parts or restore if possible.
He was given the saw by someone who ran it hard.
The saw has been heavily used and somewhat modified over the years by previous owners.
One modification includes reworking the dado opening to take a flat slab of steel instead of the original cast aluminum insert (long gone).
