I had used this grinder when in high school machine shop (early 1970's). In 1988 I went to work for the maintenance dept. of the local school dist.Some years down the line it came up for surplus and I acquired it. All the years of student use had shown on the housing (hammering,center punch marks,etc) and missing were the wheel guards,lights and work support tables but the motor ran super,the wheel shafts were true and I used like this until this summer (2019) I made it look pretty and restored it. Some will say it's not like it was when it left the factory, no it isn't. But I made the Guards,work table and supports,used allen head hardware and may install LED lighting on it. It's a 1 horsepower model and I am running 11/2 inch X 10 inch coarse wheel on the left and a 10 inch wire wheel on right.And it's a joy to use!
