Comments:
The serial number looks to be 5D87 which would put it from 1919-1920. But it looks like it may have a 7 at the end but not likely that would put it in the 30s. Got it free but had to move it. It was worn out as far as the keys and shafts. I rebuilt all that was worn out. It’s much quieter than before but the square cut gears are always noisy. I’ve put it back to work in my machine shop and it looks happy again. People that looked at it all asked the same question “what are you going to drill with that huge thing “and I gave the gave the same answer “ what ever I want to” it will turn a 3” bit like a champ. I had to make all the keys as well they were dovetail 3/8” had to set up an angle vice to cut them then surface grind to fit

Comments: Huge vice and tombstone. I’ve seen and used a lot of radial drill but have never seen one with two decks with tee slots.
