I have attached a picture of the jig that Bruce and I used to crown the tires on a model 81 bandsaw. We just glued a piece of a sanding belt to a long board. Reversed the motor so that the torque pushes the board aganist the frame and under the blade guard. On the other end we used a wood shim to set the depth. This jig actually works pretty well. Just mark the tire with chalk and grind to the center line of the wheel and for the finish crown just rock the board on the shim. Since both wheels have a common shaft size both wheels were crowned on the lower shaft. Blades run true and smooth after crowning.
