Comments:
Here is a nice BF Barnes bench top drill press. It was originally sold in San Francisco by CW Marwedel hardware co. The guy I bought it from said he had picked it up in the bay area many years ago. It is pretty much complete with tight and loose pulleys on the countershaft and a five step cone pulley. The head shaft Has the original cone pulley as well and the pinion and crown gears are both 25 tooth. I really like the wood handle table raising shaft and the rectangular table with oil galley. Almost all of the original finish is intact and I will keep it that way. Arc of shame is not too bad, at least no though holes. It fits in well with some of my other Rockford area drills. Ed.
