Found this machine on CL at a very reasonable price. The mill had some serious issues that were not apparent at the time of the sale. A donor machine was purchased from Ebay and a 2 year restoration followed. This machine has a department of defense tag and was use in the springfield armory during world war two. The cincinnati 0-8 vertical mill is a production machine with no adjustable knee and a small table. It would not be suitable for a professional machinist, however, for a few hundred bucks it provides a high quality entry level machine for the hobbyist.
