Traded for this post drill at Bill Simmeths tool sale earlier this year. The only missing components were one square head screw and the crank handle for the drive/return wheel at the top of the drill. I also replaced the main spindle gear, because it had two broken teeth - this is a standardized piece, and I found one from the online selling site starting with an "E" that was actually pulled from a different model.

This was cleaned and dissassembled, electrolysis to all parts, and then applied rustoleum rusty red primer and semi-gloss black enamel to all non friction parts. Gears and shafts were treated with parafin wax to preserve and reduce friction. The wood support appears to be cherry, and I belt sanded and then finish sanded lightly so that it maintained the original planer marks and the original No. 101 ink on the wood above the drill (you can just make it out in the photo). I got it setup now in my shop on a sturdy shelf that I built, since the garage doesn't have any posts. I lubricated shafts and other moving parts with low weight-20 "3 in 1" lubricant.
