Comments:
This was my very first power tool purchase. I bought it (used) from a woodworking machinery dealer in 1964. I have a new Jet 10" table saw, but could not bring myself to get rid of this old friend. It serves as an extension to my RAS table, and as the base of my original router table. I still use the saw occasionally for dado operations, saving setup time on my 10" saw. There is a steel rod which extends to the rear from the splitter bracket on the back of the rear trunnion. This engages a slot in the motor mount, and this causes the motor to slide from side to side when the saw blade is tilted for bevel cuts.

I recently found the cast iron pedestal base on a similar old saw (103.22161) at a garage sale less than a block from my home. I made a mounting bracket for my old switch box to raise it to a more convenient height and made a more substantial motor mount bracket from a piece of channel iron. Some spare parts from the newly acquired old saw were used to rebuild my rip fence cam locking lever which was badly worn.
