Purchased from and estate sale in SE Pennsylvania. Currently cleaning and repairing using parts from a second machine, both were in a state to be scrapped. Serial number puts it as one in a batch of 26 manufactured in December of 1941. It has a National Industrial Reserve badge on one side, so definitely part of come government contract and most likely sat mothballed before the previous owner acquired it. Unfortunately it was quite disassembled when I purchased it and I could not locate all parts for it, so making it run will be requiring a further investment. An excellent machine and piece of history to add the the repertoire, seems to be one of the less common K&T models.
