Comments:
Picked this up along with several other pieces. It is a fully functional machine that was in use at the time of purchase. I stripped it down, cleaned it, painted it and lubed it.
The Companion decal is a little larger than the original, but it's what I had on hand. I think it breaks up the overwhelming amount of blue. Amazingly this thing has no bearings, only bushings.
I'm not sure if this concept predates the band saw, but the bandsaw pretty much made this tool obsolete. It is fun to use and watch work. It has about half a dozen oil gits that require constant attention.
The previous owner must have very diligent and liberal with the oil because there is little wear and tear and everything still fits and operates snugly.
