This is a Brown-Brockmeyer Co. 1/2-HP Single-Phase 1725-RPM Repulsion-Start/Induction-Run motor. It weighs 50-lbs and has a 3/4" shaft.

It was installed on a 1939 Walker-Turner WT900 drill press, when I purchased it in 2020. I do not think it was original to the DP, but seems to be roughly that era. The latest patent referenced on the name plate was issued Aug-3 1926. So, maybe the motor was manufactured within a few years after that?
