My father-in-law purchased this at an estate sale. It had been unattended in a barn for a long time. He cleaned it up and re-painted it. It operates smooth as butter. Hardly used.

Date of manufacture is a guess. Atlas bought Clausing Lathe Co. in 1950, and in 1969 they changed their name to Clausing. Since my machine has an “Atlas” badge, I figure it’s probably during that window.
